Growing medical cannabis

  • I use quality seed and then clone these for future use.
  • The clones are started in a misting system then moved to a DWC system.
  • Two 1000 gph air pumps keep the solution aerated. 2000 watt (rated) LED light makes the plants grow fast.
  • I have two tents with 3’x3′ growing areas.
  • The base of the plants are covered with foil. Each plant will have 4 stems.
  • After 6 weeks the lights are reduced to 12 hours beginning the flowering stage.
  • Flowers will begin forming after a couple of weeks at 12 hours per day.
  • The flowers will continue growing for 8 to 12 weeks depending on the strain.
  • To harvest I cut and trim the flowers using scissors and this trimmer.
  • Hanging nets with fans underneath will dry the flowers in a week or so.
  • Once dry, the flowers are stored using a vacuum sealer.
