I have added some more information in the nutrients section on getting the right amount of nutrients for each strain.
You can view how I grow cannabis starting with the cycle and work your way down the menu to get a more detailed look. The Environment covers the equipment I use to control the water, air and temperature. Terminology is where I have definitions for technical and cultural terms used in this site. I keep a Journal that I update weekly/randomly to track my progress.

The quality and genetics of the plants I grow are extremely important. In tent B I have Mimosa, Car. Cooler MT4 and Blackberry Kush. In tent A I am currently growing Golden Tiger v.3, Godfather OG and Gelonade. These help to control anxiety, provide relief from arthritis, help me sleep better at night and soothe the aches and pains of being old.
I use a hydroponic system generally referred to as Deep Water Culture. Clones and new seeds are grown using a simple low pressure aeroponic system. Under intense light with highly oxygenated solution supplying ample nutrients these plants grow very fast.
Trichomes
I grow only female plants because the flowers will continue to produce cannabinoid and terpene-rich resin in an attempt to trap pollen from male flowers. Trichomes are the almost microscopic hairs produced by cannabis plants and are responsible for creating most known flavors, terpenes and cannabinoids that make every cannabis plant unique and effective. Trichomes are developed with the specific purpose of protecting the cannabis plant against natural elements and predators.

Most cannabis trichomes are found on the flowers. Lower concentrations are found on the small fan leaves, sometimes called sugar leaves. I trim these leaves when harvesting the plant and use them to make oils. Using these oils gives a longer, 6-8 hours, experience with more physical effects. Very good for pain relief and as a sleep aid.

Tents
There are many advantages to growing hydroponically using grow tents, mainly it allows more control over the entire process. On the down side it is expensive to set up and does require daily maintenance. I use three grow tents, one is 3′ x 4′ x 6′ with three DWC buckets and a 2’x2’x4′ with the aeroponic buckets for starting clones. The other is 3′ x 3′ x 6′ has three DWC buckets. These grow tents come in a wide variety of sizes to fit almost any growers needs.
