I use this section to track the progress of my plants. It provides a visual record allowing me to compare current plants with those of the past. I usually update it weekly or when I want to record an event.
Clones
7-17-24
Removed GG4 from the buckets, going to use Sleepy Joe now.

7-9-24
Two months until I need to begin to get three clones ready for the next cycle. Only keeping the LK, GG, SJ and GT3. Replacing GG4 with the SJ OG.

6-30-24
Sleepy Joe, Golden Tiger v.3 and original Gorilla Glue clones almost ready to move to buckets.

5-21-24
Getting back to the normal routine now that most of the plant room is setup. Good roots developing on all new clones. Foggers are working great. Good, fluffy root masses developing.

5-10-24
Mostly set up, still cleaning up area and figuring best place for everything on shelves. Clones doing better after getting too hot and late solution change during the move.
4-23-24
In the middle of moving. Cleaning up basement, still need to get two cgfi on each line going to the tents and install new outlets.
3-29-24
Replaced lids on the buckets. Moved the holes farther from the edge. Roots/stems getting caught on the edge when replacing lid. Also they need more room around the roots. Moved foggers to within an inch and a half from the top. Getting good coverage. Fins around the edges are are used for clipping training wires.

3-12-24
Replaced misters with 4 way foggers from DripWorks which produce a much smaller droplet. These are going to need at least an 800 gph pump to work right. Almost an immediate improvement in root growth. Dead spots in upper part between the individual streams. Can’t start new clones, but works okay with longer roots. The one 800 gph pump I have doesn’t seem to have any dead spots. Need to keep an eye on the roots to make sure the stream isn’t too strong and mats the roots like the misters.

Tent A
7-30-24
Removing smaller stems to clear space for the flowers to expand as they grow. Cutting fan leaves, removing the larger and darker ones to allow light to hit the lower flowers. Cutting every other day now. Fan leaf growth should start slowing down as the flowers form.
GG #4 is about a week farther along flowering as it was in the back of the tent when the door was open.

7-27-24
Continuing to clean out fan leaves, etc.

7-25-24
GG #7 is just now starting to flower.

7-23-24
GG #4 started flowering at least a week before #7.

7-19-24
Removed stems to clear space for the flowers to expand as they grow. Took out lower thin stems and started stripping off the small, short stems on the lower part of many of the branches.
Some yellowing of the leaves on #7 due to the lower Micro and Gro amounts I have been using for the past two weeks. Added 15x to a gallon and split between the two. Going back to 25x + 15 when I change the solution.

7-17-24
Set alarm to remind myself to open/close the door on the tent. Getting too much spill over from the light in tent B where I recently started 3 new plants under 18 hours light. These plants should already be showing the first stigmas.
7-18-24
Temperature range in tent was 71 to 78. It’s a little cooler outside now (low 80’s for highs). AC from house and portable unit set at 76 keeping humidity in the 50’s.

7-9-24
Removing larger fan leaves every other day.

6-30-24
Begin flowering stage today. I spent the last 2 plus weeks stripping off upper and lower fan leaves. Good light reaching the lower stems. I have been removing thinner stems and others to reduce over crowding. Excellent root growth, keeping it trimmed about 3 inches above bottom of bucket. Brown crusty stuff on some of the roots around the net pots on both plants. Is this normal, maybe salts from the nutrient solution.

6-18-24
Solid stems (3 1/4 inch circumference on both). I think starting branching earlier may make it easier to get the right shape and full coverage under the lights.

6-18-24
Removing upper fan leaves every other day now. Thinning out branches that are too crowded. Still reshaping plants that were supposed to be one of three to cover half the available space.
Under the intense light the internode distance is very short. Once the clones are moved to buckets one new stem be allowed to grow every 3-4 days? until I have 8 stems. Then I will allow 3 stems to form on each stem. I will probably let these grow for a week, letting new side shoots form on all stems. I want to end up with 8 main stems surrounded by 3 lower stems.

6-8-24
Killed the GT3, too much bleach then forgot to rinse.
6-8-24
Removed a lot of the top fan leaves to get some light on lower stems. Need to start removing all side shoots leaving only the top on lower stems.

6-8-24
Good shape on both GG. Nice roots also.

5-21-24
Starting to let side shoots form on each main stem. Removing every other new shoot for now.

5-14
Two GG and one GT3 recovered rapidly after the stress of the move.

4-30-24
GG4 is ready for harvest, waiting for new drying rack to arrive. Probably arrive this Saturday.

4-5-24
GG4 is filling out nicely.
3-29-24
GG4 doing well. Growing new roots and lots of new flowers forming at top of colas.

3-24-24
Lots of new flowers forming and roots smell good now.

3-19-24
GG4 doing well. Started trimming the tips of the small fan leaves again. Starting to change the solution every 5 days until all of the bleach smell is gone from the roots. Still watching some brown spots to make sure the root rot is no longer active.

Tent B
7-30-24
All 3 plants have twelve stem (3×4). GT3 is a week older and grows faster than the other two strains with longer stems. I raised the light to 16-18 inches above plants and lowered the illumination to 40% (800 watts rated). This helped stretch out new stem growth and the tips are more flexible. Keeping the tops of all three plants close to the same height.
Good root growth on all plants, especially the GT3 as usual.

7-26-24
Sleepy Joe, Golden Tiger v.3 and original Gorilla Glue all doing well.

7-18-24
Sleepy Joe, Golden Tiger v.3 and original Gorilla Glue all doing well.
GT3 roots growing very fast, need to start pruning 2 times a week. Probably Thursday and Monday. Broke another stem on the GT3 when bending. The extremely fast growth of this plant leaves a one to two inch brittle area between the flexible tip and hardened stem.
Using 25 ml of each nutrient when mixing their solution.

7-9-24
Older, larger fan leaves starting to have dead spots, especially the Sleepy Joe. Stress from moving to DWC bucket probably. Try moving into DWC a week to 10 days earlier. There probably will always be some effects from the stress when being moved from the clone buckets.
Roots:
GT3 thick growth of new roots all around pot
GG not as thick as GT3 and a little shorter
SJ new growth showing on one side
Putting the roots in the net pot first, then adding grow rocks to stabilize works the best.
Putting the roots in the net pot first, then adding grow rocks to stabilize works the best.

7-4-24
Sleepy Joe, Golden Tiger v.3 and original Gorilla Glue clones moved to Tent B.

6-30-24
LK is about ready to harvest. 3 clones should be ready next week.

5-21-24
Temperature running a little higher than I would like, 77 with the door open. SJ plant is too tall, flowers are up in the hottest part of the tent.

5-21-24
Heavy trichome coating on both plants.

5-17-24

5-14-24
Good early flower development. Lots of trichomes forming on both plants.

3-29-24
Lots of new roots on LK. Top stem starting to shoot up.

3-29-24
Sleepy Joe is waking up. Quick recovery after bleaching roots. Cut off top stems and cleaned up some of the fan leaves.
3-24-24
Getting better at shaping under the intense light. SJ has good internode spacing and thick stemmed lower branches. Plant is growing fast, using a lot of solution this week.

3-24-24
Lk has new roots growing, solution smells right. I cut out some of the lower stems and older large fan leaves to help reduce stress on plant. I looks like there may be new top growth but not sure yet.

3-20-24
Changed solution after 5 days. New roots growing on both plants. Looks like LK top stems are growing again.
3-19-24
Sleepy Joe is growing new roots and just growing in general. Still watching some brown spots to see if root rot is spreading.
LK is holding, not seeing new roots yet and with this many top stems it’s hard to tell if there is any new growth yet. Roots look good, still a lot of brown along one side but roots under the brown are ok. Sometimes a hard, brown skin will form on roots possibly from when the bleach kills the fungus growing on the plant.

Harvest
7-17-24
Set the LK plant outside the tent in the side room and have been harvesting some for the last week. Still getting new flowers growing all over the plant. This makes it a lot easier, allowing me to just do small amounts every day.

6-1-24
Cut the top flowers from Sleepy Joe OG.

5-16-24
Decent yield. I had to use the oven to finish drying this crop. Even with 4 fans on the drying rack the 80%+ humidity kept it too moist. 15 minutes at 170 degrees removed the last 18 grams of water.

5-10-24
Finished harvesting GG4. In basement with 3 fans, one is underneath blowing straight up. Humidity is running 70% to 90 %. I didn’t break up the flowers in the top colas to cut down on time spent trimming. Need to watch for mold (grey).

4-30-24
GG4 is ready for harvest, waiting for new drying rack to arrive. Probably arrive this Saturday.
