A Chitral kush from the Hindu Kush mountain range in Afghanistan and Pakistan with a unique strong herbal lemon smell and taste. She is mostly indica with small hard nugs and with a little stretch towards the end. Stoney, yet high all round buzz. Despite the indica heritage, she leads to a sativa-ish high in the head and is therefore a favorite amongst the connoisseurs of the medical community in Holland since the early 90’s.

I am impressed with the calming effects and its ability to keep me on an even keel throughout the day, this is my favorite strain. This is a good strain to use when making infusions in oil or other foods. The effects when when used in edibles are similar to smoking or vaping and lasts for hours.

Terpene Profile – Limonene, Caryophyllene – Aroma Earthy, Lemon Flavor, Sweet, Spicy
D-Limonene is the chemical compound — or terpene — responsible for the lemony scent and taste of Lemon Kush. D-limonene occurs naturally in citrus fruits and is used industrially to enhance the fragrance of lotions and perfumes. This terpene may also have some tangible medical benefits — in animals and test tube trials, d-limonene was found to have anti-inflammatory and even cancer-fighting properties (although these results were not replicated in a later test among women with breast cancer). D-limonene may also help to relieve acid reflux.
Typical Effects: Strong, energizing, and physically soothing – Lemon Kush stimulates the mind and sensory realms for optimal physical activity free from pain and fatigue.
Culture
Lemon Kush is a slow growing, compact plant with large fan leaves. It requires higher levels of nutrients than GG#4 and Jack Herer and will not recover from nutrient deficiencies. It forms a ball of tight flowers with new flowers pushing out from under the older flowers. This produces a heavy, tight cola covered in trichomes.
