    • The really fast tour.

I have set the tents up in a the back of the basement. Lots of shelves and a cabinet for storage. Cool but humid, lots of fans going to keep air flowing. I ran ducts from the AC and air return into the room to help control the humidity.

  • I first installed GFCI outlets at the entry point for both power lines. Any fluctuation in the current and the power to the rest of the circuit is cut off. I split the load between two breakers to spread out the power usage.
  • The tents set on platforms supported by concrete blocks. I covered the top of the platform with a slick polywall to make it easier to slide the buckets.
  • I used single hole 1/2″ clamps to keep the tents from sliding around.
  • The inside of the tent is uncluttered, easy to clean.
  • I placed as many of the power strips for the lights, fans and pumps between the two tents. Easy to check and out of the way.
  • 2’x2’x4′ tent for clones.
  • Seedlings are started in closed off section of tent A. Also a good place to start tomatoes and other plants for my vegetable garden.
  • Shelves along the wall allow easy access to wires, tools and space for clip board.
  • Mixing station for nutrient solution.
  • Lots of space for buckets.
  • Enclosed cabinet to store nutrient solutions. Easy access and light blocking to protect the solutions.
  • Revolving bucket seat is comfortable when working on the plants.
  • Curtains close off the room when needed to regulate the temperature.
  • Worktable next to grow room.
