All plants need light, water, nutrients and air the appropriate temperature in order to produce a healthy plant. By using grow tents indoors coupled with a hydroponic system I can control all of these factors. I have found the key to growing healthy plants is to avoid any form of stress throughout their lifetime. I keep the nutrient solution in the DWC buckets from 68 to 74 degrees and in the Aeroponic buckets 72 to 76. Two powerful air pumps maintain the high oxygen levels required by the plants. I have run ducting from the central air conditioning to help keep the air temperature in the range of 68 to 74 degrees. A portable AC and a ceramic heater keep the room temperature moderated throughout the year. Multiple fans circulate and draw in fresh air in each tent. You need good airflow around the plants to keep the oxygen expelled by the plants from pooling under the leaves.
In the tents I use 11 fans, 4 LED lights, 2 water pumps, 3 air pumps and 5 power strips. I routed as many of the power cords and power strips to one central area between the two tents. I had to use two power strips in the clone area on the end of Tent A for the light, two water pumps and an air pump.
