    • The really fast tour.

I built this site to keep track of the process I use to grow medical cannabis. I have spent several years trying to learn how to grow in a hydroponic setup. I have a system that works well for me and will be refining the process now. As I change things in my operation I will update the site to keep it current. I also keep a personal ‘Journal’ to record the history of the garden. I have moved out to a farm with a friend and have set up the tents in the basement. Lots of shelves, a work area plus two washtubs save a lot of time.

There is a lot of misinformation about cannabis on the internet. The lack of scientific studies due to legal restrictions leaves a lot of room for myths to propagate throughout the web. I have included some of the basic scientific information about the plant and its properties along with definitions for terminology used in the site. Most definitions and technical information are from Wikipedia and Webster’s dictionary.

“It gets the job done” is my engineering criteria when building anything. I use wire, duct tape and build using whatever is handy. It may not look pretty but it does what I need.

All photos were taken with my phone except for some stock sales images and a small microscope for images of the trichomes. I use the GIMP, an open source GNU image manipulation program to correct lighting and reduce the size of the images. I occasionally add and update photos to better depict the topic of a section.

I use WordPress basic to build this site. It’s cheap and has a good editor. I upgraded my account to get better control over the menu system, the ability to post videos and more access to tools.
